Meet the Team
We recognize that all our patients are unique and deserve to receive orthodontic care that reflects their individual needs. We take great pride in our team - each person works exceptionally hard to make sure that they are well-trained and well-prepared for patient care each day.
Collectively, our assisting team brings over 66 years of service in orthodontics to your care. Dr. Potocki & Dr. Whateley place a heavy emphasis on continuous improvement and provides several hours of continuing education both online, onsite and offsite annually to each team member.
Robin
Scheduling Coordinator
I love working in a friendly environment with a family atmosphere, and I absolutely love watching people transform during treatment. Seeing a person the day their braces come off is the best — their smile is priceless!
Robin joined Coldwater Orthodontics in 2010, when her two youngest were getting braces here. She welcomes patients and families with a big smile, takes care of scheduling, and helps with their insurance and payment needs. Robin loves working in customer service because it allows her to connect with and help people. Since joining our team, she has attended and planned many continuing education meetings, both in and outside the practice.
Outside of work, Robin loves camping, especially with her family. A few things that make her smile are her husband Derek, her four children, her six grandchildren, and her pets!
Jennifer
Manager and Treatment Coordinator
I enjoy working with patients and families, and seeing the amazing results we create each day. I also enjoy working as a team: We all do a little part for each patient and those parts add up to something that improves every patient’s life. It makes my day when I run into former patients and they say, “I get so many compliments on my smile — thank you so much!”
Jennifer has been part of Coldwater Orthodontics since 1991. She meets with our new patients and families, walks people through their initial evaluations and consultations, and handles the post-treatment records and consultations. Jennifer holds both a BS from Michigan State and an MBA from Indiana University and has completed multiple continuing education courses on practice management, treatment coordination, and general orthodontics.
Jennifer shares her life with an amazing and supportive husband, Greg, and two kids, Vinnie and Lela, who keep her entertained and exhausted at the same time. The family also includes their dog, Buddy, who loves to swim and go on pontoon rides! In her spare time, Jennifer volunteers at school, attends high school soccer games and watches her daughter perform at Tibbits. She is also an active member of the Coldwater Exchange Service Club.
Halle
Clinical Technician
I love watching a child’s personality and confidence grow as their teeth straighten. I’ve wanted to work with cleft palate children since I was young, too, and here I have that opportunity. We are family and we work hard so our patients and their families feel like part of our family. At Coldwater Orthodontics, we all strive for perfection so that all of our patients love their smiles!
Halle grew up in the Coldwater area and joined our practice in 2019, but it wasn't her first time here, because Dr. Whateley did her orthodontics! She began her dental assisting career in the Ross Dental Education Program. When she came to us, she also completed Level I and II of Trapezio Orthodontic Chairside Assisting. You will always find Halle with a friendly smile and helpful attitude when you come to the office for your appointments.
Halle and her husband share a beautiful little boy. When she isn't in the office, Halle enjoys singing (she has an incredibly beautiful voice:) and spending time with her family.

Bri
Clinical Technician and Treatment Coordinator
I have always had an interest in helping others and love building relationships with patients and their families. Coldwater Orthodontics is unique because we make our patients feel at home. We put their needs first to achieve efficient treatment, and in this way our orthodontic team is one-of-a-kind — just like the people we care for!
Bri has been with us since 2015 and holds Trapezio certifications. She worked as a clinical technician for several years and now can be found introducing new patients and their families to the process of orthodontics as a Treatment Coordinator. Bri enjoys learning all she can about orthodontics and has attended numerous continuing education seminars including indepth Invisalign and Treatment Coordinator intensive trainings.
Bri’s hobbies include being an avid Michigan fanatic, attending Michigan sporting events, exercising, relaxing on the lake, traveling, and reading. Her husband and Miniature Schnauzer make her smile!
Naybet
Lab & Clinical Technician
I enjoy working at Coldwater Orthodontics for three reasons: it is a very welcoming environment, we work with people’s schedules to the best of our ability, and we make sure each patient leaves with their best smile. This is an amazing practice, where every patient receives one-to-one attention throughout their orthodontic journey!
Naybet joined us in 2016, when he graduated from Coldwater High School. Naybet has completed multiple orthodontic courses, has certification for Level 1and Level 2 Trapezio Orthodontic Assisting. Naybet can also be found printing 3D models in our lab, setting up orthodontic cases and making clear retainers and other lab appliances when needed. In addition to his full-time job here, he is attending Michigan State University to complete his bachelors degree.
Naybet’s hobbies include going to gym, playing soccer and basketball, and playing video games. He loves his family and his family loves him; he says “No matter if I am right or wrong, they are always there for me!”
Kati 
Financial Coordinator
I have always had an interest in orthodontics. I love seeing patients, learning about orthodontic treatment and business management, and helping people get a great smile — all in a friendly environment!
Kati joined Coldwater Orthodontics in 2019. She joins us with vast medical and banking experience that has allowed us to offer expert assistance to families in managing their accounts and payment plans. She always has a smile on her face whether you see her in person or when she greets you on the phone.
Kati is a long-time Coldwater resident and has three active, beautiful children. You can normally find Kati cheering on her kids at local volleyball, baseball, football, wrestling and other sporting events!
Elva
Clinical Technician
Elva is a former patient (you can tell by her amazing smile!) and joined us in 2019. Elva has completed Level I of Trapezio Orthodontic Assisting training, which is over 60 hours of online orthodontic chairside instruction and testing in Sterilization and assisting. She is also studying for her CDA and attending classes to complete her degree.
Elva is a graduate of Bronson High School. In her spare time, she enjoys raising her son Kohen and spending time with her family.
Maria
CLINICAL TECHNICIAN
Maria joined us in 2021 with a strong background in General Dentistry. She has completed OSHA, Knowledge & Level I & II of Trapezio Orthodontic Certification and is currently studying to take her CDA certification. Her clinical expertise includes assisting with laser and Temporary Anchorage Device (TAD) placement.
Maria lives in Coldwater and enjoys spending time with her family.
Carrie
CLINICAL TECHNICIAN
Carrie joined the office in 2021 after working in the medical field. She enjoys the variety of procedures in orthodontics and enjoys working with patients of all ages. Carrie has also completed her Trapezio OSHA, knowledge & orthodontic assisting certifications.
Carrie lives in Bronson Michigan with her family. She enjoys her family time, especially cheering on the Bronson Wrestling Team.
Lizzy
STERILIZATION TECHNICIAN
Lizzy joined our team in 2022 as Sterilization Technician. She keeps our clinic flowing smoothly by sterilizing chairs, carts and instruments between patients, managing supplies and keeping the wheels in motion during our day.
Lizzy lives in Coldwater with her family.
